Fundamentals of Computer Science

We will be using Piazza as a discussion board for the course. This will be a space for you to ask questions about homework, labs, or other course material and get answers from the instructors, TAs, or your classmates.

You should have received an invitation email to your NEU email address to activate an account for the course. If you did not, please contact a TA ASAP.

The Piazza for our course can be accessed at https://piazza.com/class#spring2013/cs2500, or from the link on the homepage.

You must register for a lab section (CS 2501) either Mondays 2:50-4:30pm, Wednesdays 11:45am-1:25pm, or Wednesdays 2:50-4:30pm. Both 2:50pm sections will be held in WVH 210. The 11:45am section will be held in WVH 212. Be sure to print and sign the Course Contract and bring it to your first lab session. Lab attendance is mandatory, and will count for 10% of your final grade!

You should check this blog on a daily basis, as we will use it to publish information to the class that needs to be disseminated in a timely way. For example, if we make a mistake on a homework assignment, or decide to issue an extension on a homework due date, you'd probably want to know about it immediately—and here is where we'll post the news.
